Almost 4 years old. Beyond blessed.

 Twins are 3 years and 10 months old now.

We are so happy with how Tom and Tim has grown to be prayerful, loving, curious and cheerful little boys. We try our best to use our language (Bisaya) at home so they have the basic knowledge and comprehension on  how to use mother tongue. They videchat with their grandparents everyday to show them their dances, songs and tell them stories. Kids add more strength to the grannies, I should say.

Memory verses:

Tom and Tim can recite Proverbs 22:6, Amos 5:24, John 4:24, Psalm 103:1 and Eph. 6:1 as well as the Seal of God. Prayer is part of their everyday routine before we eat, before we go on trips and before we sleep.  


Filled with Joy:

Every day our hearts are full of happiness every time we see how Tom and Tim play with and talk to each other. They will attend kinderstart by February God willing.  We always hear them role playing like they were students going to school every morning riding the school bus and playing around. This time, it is the first time that they will be away and expose themselves to other children.

I am very confident that they will blend well. We are always here to support Tom and Tim along the way.

September 13 is just around the corner. Time flies so fast. The premies are not little boys and are soon-to-be school boys.

The twins turn 2

 Last September 13, 2020, Tom and Tim turned 2.  This time, they can sing their own birthday song, they can count 1-10, can say more than 20 words, responds when their names are called, and play with each other most of the time. We started dreaming and praying for a family and God gave us two lovely sons. Looking back at the trials we had to experience just gives us the strength to go on and continue to eb grateful for the mall and huge things God has blessed us. We shared dinner with our friends and celebrated their special day with our hearts full of happiness and thanksgiving. May you both grow in God's faithfulness.

it is a twin pregnancy

Gilbert and I were married last 2016, got pregnant after a year but miscarried. In 2018, we learned we got pregnant with TWINS. Though we were not surprised because we have twin relatives on both sides, still the idea of having 2 babies inside my tummy is not sinking in yet. February 14, Valentine's Day of 2018, we heard the first heartbeats of the babies. We were not able to hear it during our first pregnancy so this is a big deal for both us. Tears just fell, as we are in awe of what we are hearing. I started to the little ones inside me thereafter. I told them not make me vomit because I have read moms of twins experiencing double the symptoms and hardships of morning sickness. indeed, they did not make me feel I am pregnant with twins at all, except for having a much bigger baby bump than other mother's with the same age of gestation as I do. Twins? Yes, our hands are full and our hearts too.

      Blessings just come in many shapes and forms. Once you have it, cherish every bit of it. I have dreamed of becoming a mother, prayed so hard and finally, God granted it.        After delivering Tom and Tim, I always heard people telling me that babies just grow too fast so I have to enjoy every moment. I casually replied to them with a nod and a smile without really knowing what they meant. All I can feel during that time were the sleepless nights, constantly sterilizing feeding bottles, feeding the twins, patiently waiting for their burp after every feeding session, changing nappies, bathing and all other kinds of stuff that new mothers do.       Twins?
